Beirut Situation?

Hi
i would love to visit Lebanon again in June. How is the situation? i mean how safe it is? what about car bombings and things like this, here we dont get news from Lebanon anymore, i hope for good, but i have to know how it is because i ll travel with my 2 y.o. son.

Hey Natassa,

If you don't hear about Lebanon in the news, that's because it's calm in the moment. No car bombings, this happened in a certain period for political issues. Now that political leaders have engaged into a 100 days of truce in order to have a prosper summer, everything is doing good, Lebanese people love life so they go out for work and for fun normally. Now that the summer season is at the doors, we are already going to the beach (unfotunatly we can't swim in the sea because it's poluted , we should go south to Tyre or go to private club were you can have a sun bath on the sea shore and swim in the swimming pool. Big events and festivals like Byblos, Beiteddine and Jbeil will announce there programs soon...
So I guess you should'nt miss summer 07 in Lebanon,...
