| Jaipur | Trip to Jaipur from Hyderabad Posted: Mon May 14, 2007 06:04 PM UTC
Dears,
Plan to go to Jaipur from Hyderabad. Can anyone suggest which Indian budget airlines to use ? Or is better to arrange everything via travel agency in Hyderabad ? Can anyone suggest which agent to use and its contacts, please. Thank you |

There is NO direct flight from Hyderabad to Jaipur at present.
Better suggestion would be to go to Delhi from Hyderabad and then change to go to Jaipur. Lots of budget airlines operate to Delhi from Hyderabad. From Delhi budget airlines operate to Jaipur. Some of the budget airlines are Go Air, Air Deccan, KingFisher, Indigo etc.. .Check their websites. You can book available cheapest tickets on line. The earlier you book, the cheaper would be the price.I don't think travel agency's assistance is required.

yes you can plan from pink city of jaipur, there are flights to bangalore, kolkata and delhi, bombay from these places.
so after jaipur, u could go to kolkata and visit eastern indian cities like gangtok, darjeeling which are well connected by air from kolkata. once you reach bombay you could do a trip to the western ghats of lonavala, go to strawberry country called mahabaleshwar, drive to pune and move on to goa. there are many options and depends on yur time factor. for any queries in jaipur u may ask me at shomad@rediffmail.com

yes u can fly from delhi to jaipur or take a volvo bus which takes 6 hrs to bring you to jaipur. the road views are excellent as u get to see the aravalli mountain ranges. there is a stopover after 2 hrs for food and toilet use. i find the bus very confortable and the trip enjoyable. try it.
there are many travel hostels here in jaipur which are close to the rail and bus station and perhaps u could write to jaipurtravel@yahoo.com who run a hostel for travellers and also arrange tours cheaply--around 25 dollars per day as room rent. other options are try a bed in a dorm in the youth hostel in jaipur and u can book it thru their website at www.yhai.org but it is 5 kms away from the city so u have to walk or take a bus.
