I arrive in Jakarta on June 16th and need to fly to Jayapura on the same day or early the next morning. I know Garuda, Merpati and Batavia all fly to Jayapura, but will it be possible to buy my ticket as soon as I arrive in Jakarta or should I book it in advance?

u better book it in advance, so u could save ur time with flight on d'same date ur arrival, since all jayapura flight r in d'evening.

Garuda now offers e-tickets, but you have to book it through local agency. Whether you want send the money abroad to an agency is your choice, we did it this way.
