| Birr | How do I get to Birr by Rail? Posted: Sat May 12, 2007 12:41 PM UTC
Hello,
I will be in Ireland for a few days in July and wanted to visit Birr Castle with my girlfriend and was wondering how to get to Birr without using a car or bus. Will it be possible by using the Rail? Thanks again pizzaguy169 |

You can for example take a train from Dublin to Birr, no go by train http://www.buseireann.ie/site/home/

hi the train does not pass thru birr , the nearest stops are tullamore aprox 24 miles away and rosrea aprox 12 miles away. you could get a taxi then
train time tables are on www.irishrail.ie there is a good private bus service from dublin to birr check www.kearnstransport.com
