Naxos Island Travel Forum

Can anyone suggest a hotel and apartments in Chora, Naxos ranging between 40 - 75 euros a night? I would actually prefer apartments.. Something charming rather than generic would be nice....

We stayed at Iliada a couple of years ago. It was quite a nice place -- the rooms have fantastic views! If you don't feel like eating out, the rooms have a small kitchenette (with very little frills). There's also a small store at the bottom of the hill to do any shopping you may need.

The only downside of Iliada is that it's a small distance from the main town (5 - 10 minute walk). Be prepared to walk up and down the (steep) hill that the hotel is located on, too.

If I ever make it back to Naxos, I'd probably stay there again.

As a bonus tip: Have dinner at Susanna's on the other side of town (by Saint George Beach). It's a great Italian restaurant (and Susanna is very friendly)!
