I have been drawn to Schaffhausen for a long time. My Grandparent's name was Schaffhausen. So anyhow, we are taking my mom to Schaffhausen and I am looking for any tips that may help us trace our family ties in the Schaffhausen region.

Have you thought of registering with a Family History,Ancestery site? I think that will bring you better results than a travel forum.
