| Pulau Redang | Package deal or not? Posted: Wed May 9, 2007 12:42 PM UTC
Do you have to go with a package deal when staying at Redang?
Are there many restaurants to visit or do people stick to their resorts. We want to dive also. Are there independent dive shops or all linked to resorts? Any you would recommend? All have advanced open water PADI or more. Also one snorkeller. |

HI!
There are more than 1 Pulau Redang as it is an archipelago. There are a number of resorts spread out on the isles. The biggest is of course Pulau Redang itself and it is possible to get around the island. There are independent dive shops but I have no details with regard to them.

a package deal is a cheaper option if you do not want the hassle of going out and find meals on your own. Some of the resorts are quite secluded than other resorts so there is trouble finding restaurants nearby.
For open water PADI course, try the one at Redang Kalong Resort. Do visit my Redang page for more info.
