Isla de Lanzarote Is it "my" island?
Posted: Wed May 9, 2007 01:19 PM UTC
Hello!
I was thinking of going to Lanzarote this summer in August with some friends, but I have few questions..
I'm used to have holidays in greek islands (Mykonos, Santorini...) or Formentera/Ibiza,
and I liked that kind of holiday: sandy beaches, beautiful water, lot of "chic" places (I'm 29, not a teen-age!!) rto go out at night..
What's about Lanzarote? Because some people told me that is really quiet...will I get bored?

Hi. I have been in Lanzarote twice, both with my wife. It is not "orientated" for teenager tourist, but there are several nice places to go and spectacular places to visit.
And if you look for some nights with bars and fun, in Puerto Teguisse you will find it.
I always recomended to visist that island, hire a car and discover lots of things!

Have fun.

I went to Santorini last year, and it was dead compared to Lanzarote, try Puerto del Carmen and you wont be disappointed.

Hi,
I've just return from Lanza. In my opinion this is good place where you can see wonderful nature, organize some trekking expedition etc. and also spend fun-time. Go to the Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise or Playa Blanca and you will be not dissapointed.
