Naxos Island Travel Forum

Now we, 2, are planning to go to Naxos coming July. Since I went there, I have fallen into love with that island. Whenever we went there, we always used a ferry boat. From our country to Athens by air, then go to Pireus, then took a ferry boat... it's fun but taking a time was problem. I checked charter flights but there was no direct flight to Naxos from any Europe countries. Couldn't you anyone recommend us which way is better to reach to Naxos? I appreciate your kindness in advance.

As you don't mention your country of origin, i would suggest you to take a look at the following site: www.laudaair.com for charters departing from Austria. The other choise is, as mentioned above, by Olympic.

Thanks for your info. You really make me wake up. I knew there was Olympic Airlines, but it didn't come to my mind at all. Unfortunately they have stopped being in service in Japan for a long time and we can't use them from Tokyo to Athens directly. We should fly to somewhere at first, then, take another flight to some in Greece. And there, we should take a domestic flight to Naxos. That's why we have tried to look for a direct flight that island. By Olymic, there is no international flight for Naxos, I'm afraid. Let's see what we shall do......... Actually till now, I haven't got how to reply you and another kind guy's help for us...I'm sorry for my poor skill to deal with such site. I will fill up my data when I master how to do so and also wanna help other travellers and talk to many travellers about our trip.
As to charter flights from Austria, I am trying to get one of them.

You can fly directly to Santorini from several cities in Europe and then take a ferry from Santorini to Naxos.

Thank you very much for your info. I will follow to your idea. As you recommended, getting a ferry boat from Santorini island seems the most effective and easiest way from Tokyo to Naxos.
By the way, those photos you have attached on your page are really fantastic. I enjoyed them a lot and felt I was in those places. Thanks, again!

I may have missed something here, but why dont you get a flight from Tokyo to Athens with any carrier that flies that route and then get a domestic Olympic flight to Naxos. The internal flights are not much more expensive than the high speed ferries/Dolphins.
