I was told by FAX airlines can get you there but they do not respond to my emails... by bus? I was told it is a 6 hour ride. I imagine grueling. Has one done this bus ride? Does anyone know the bus or plane schedule?

Expect cancellation and delay of flights. I had and heard of bad experience with fax. There is only one flight sdk->twu->sdk. However there are lots of express buses. very regular. Time taken is 5 hours.

Have just had my flight cancelled. Where do we get the express buses from and is there a timetable available anywhere. Would we need to book in advance.

Also if all else fails is there a possibility of getting a taxi from tawau to Sepilok? - if so how much?

Sorry for all the questions - panicking a bit now as it is only 5 weeks till i go.

Dont worry Linda, Plenty of express buses that leave hourly especially in the morning. The buses leave at Sabindo Square in the town centre. Tawau Town is not big. Sabindo Square is within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes)from most hotels and guest houses. Taxi ride is RM5 within the town.
