Hi
We're arriving at midnight on a Sunday at Bergamo airport, and will be picking up a hire car there the following morning, so is there a hotel on or near the airport? Nothing fancy, but not a dump either. In the UK, I'd go for something like a Travel Lodge. Any help would be appreciated. Final destination is Bardolino. Thanks |

have a look at this page in the airport's website: http://www.sacbo.it/Editorial/newsCategoryViewProc Perhaps you can find something. I know there are some hotels in the area but I have no idea if you can checkin late at night. Though, I am afraid you still need to use a car or a taxi to reach any hotel at that time. I suggest to stay in Bergamo for the night. In the morning you ca take a bus to the airport, just 15 minutes and less than 2 euro. May be you can also catch the last bus in the night (around midnight). Oterwise look for Orio al Serio, the nearest village; I know there is at leat one hotel, but you can't walk there.
