I will be visiting Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai on a business trip and have promised my kids and parents ( who will be babysitting them)whom I'm leaving behind that I shall be getting some souvenirs for them. Problem is I would be short of time and would not have the time to browse or window-shop.What are the products which are typical or unique to these places and where can I buy them at each city?Knic-knacs like chopsticks or items for display will not be appealing to them.Perhaps some traditional toys or tidbits would be appreciated.

In Suzhou, you can visit Guan Qian Street, there are lots of souvenirs there; In Shanghai,it is the Yu Yuan,or Cheng Huang Temple, there are lots of vendors there. Both are located in downtown city, and ask anyone, they know it.
