We will be arriving in Bodrum from Kusadasi on June 30th for the night. We have chartered a boat on July 1st in KOS. Does our family fo 4 (2 adults and 2 children 10 and 13) need to book the ferry in advance or do we just show up on the date of our travel?

You ar going to arrive bodrum at high season.Its better to book your seats in 1 day advance if you wont be able to book in advance you can try your chance in last minute...

Hello Kim. Normally in the web you will find infomration about one company making the schedule Bodrum - Kos and maybe this will scare you so you can book a.s.a.p. But as far as i can see in my programmes, there should be 4- 5 companies(5 boats)which may be prerforming the trip on that day. Unless of course you would wish to depart at 0900 (Bodrum Express Maritime) in the morning or 1600 - 1700 when the most companies (Laoumzis Lines, Maria Star,Kostakis etc.) depart. The price of the 0900 one is standard (25 Euros)p.p. and please excuse any change that may occur in the meanwhile. The rest of the companies.. Hm. That is the weird case because due to the competition, prices are expected to change. But one thing is for sure. Favourable for your pocket are the afternoon ones. Kostas

you can book your ferry to KOS from Bodrum in advance through a local tour operator. I have used Morning Tour Travel, located in Bodrum they were very helpful, speak english, check thier email and are informed
