Getting to Belfast from Cavan

Hey there---

I'm not too familiar with the transport in Ireland, so bear with me. I'll be getting to Cavan from Dublin via bus, but then want to get to Belfast from there. Any suggestions about the best way to get there?

No trains in Cavan, so take the bus.

Takes around 4+ hours, involves changing (sometimes more than once). Some services involve going back to Dublin first, so you might want to reconsider your plans.
