We are going to go there in september and we want to know about places to go, restaurants, shops, pubs, maybe some traditional food.... Are there some pub with live music?? We love life music!!!!!!!!!!!
We want to enjoy this town, Explain us all that you think could be interesting.

Why don't you arrange your own meeting, pick a date, arrange a time and post it on here, even if you don't meet your perfect guide, it'd be a good excuse for a drink and meet with other like-mided people.

Hi Alivan,
There are lots of great places to go, it depends on what you like really. If you enjoy jazz, then the Elm Tree Pub has live jazz several times a week. It's just a short walk from the centre of town and you should meet plenty of locals there. If you like bigger live venues where you can dance (but maybe the music's too loud for conversation), try the Junction. It is further out of town, but you can still walk if you're feeling energetic. They have a website listing their programme. If the weather's nice you could walk along the river to Grantchester. Nice walk and there are several pubs there, serving traditional food. Also, the Orchard Tea Rooms is a good place for a cup of tea and a cake, it's in Grantchester village too. Send me a message just before you come and we can meet if I'm around. Hope you enjoy it!

Hi there, as another option try visiting a local football club to meet local people. For £10 you can visit Cambridge City FC based on Milton Road. The club is in its 100th year this year and would welcome you warmly.

Their website for fixtures and info is : www.cambridgecityfc.com
