Hi...need help!!
When is the weekend night market at Jonkers Street on?
Sat & Sun only? How about Friday??? Help! I am only there on Wed & Thu night...Thinking of whether to extend to Friday night..so that I can jalan jalan the night market...

And any recommedations for short day trips about 1 - 2 hours travelling time from Malacca town?

Ys, the nite market is on every Friday to Sunday if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, re-confirm on this matter with the hotel where you'll stay before extending your stay there.

Another alternative, maybe you can consider viisting Muar as well, abt 1 hr drive frm Melaka.

I'm caught in a similar situation... stayin in Melaka on a wkday (non-Friday) tht is!

to ur question, yes, Jonkers Walk is on on Fridays... been there last mth and enjoyed the lively atmosphere very much...

I'll be going to Melaka on Sunday so what time does the night market start & till when? How many days do you think I should be there?

The nite market start around 6pm till around midnite. If you just plan to visit the old historical city and the nite market, 1 nite stay should be enough. However, if you plan to go elsewhere like Ayer Keroh (Mini Malaysia/ASEAN, Zoo etc), its better if you spend 2 nites in Melaka.
