York petrifiying well

having seen the petrifiying well on cbbc while watching with my granda-daughter, have found that it is in yorkshire, but, would you please be kind enough to send to me more information and exact location of the well as we would like to visit ourselves.

The petrifiying well is at Knaresbourgh a lovely town just outside Harrogate. The well is called Mother Shiptons well is on the banks of the river nidd.

There is also a petrifying well in Matlock Bath in Derbyshire...there may be ones in other Limestone areas maybe?
