I would like to come back to the wonderful Amalfi Coast and stay in an apartment or a villa, as I am an indipendent traveller. Last time I have booked on www.seasonsinitaly.com and everything was OK. If someone else have booked an apartment or a villa in the Amalfi Coast, could you tell me if you think that prices on seasonsinitaly.com are good enouth? Do you know others vacation rentals companies that also offer complete assistence like seasonsinitaly. Thanks in advance, Kate

They cover all price ranges and we've been very happy with them. It might be worth a look.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have looked the web site but it seems that they don't gine any local assistence. We are indipendent travel but we prefer to have a local assistence anyway. Could you please tell me if there is a local staff for assistence or not? Seasonsinitaly.com gives a very good assistence and we would like to found a similar service. Thanks again

When we have used them, they have put us in touch with the property owners and all transactions have been with them. We've only stayed in properties where the owners live nearby and are there to take care of any problems. The holiday rentals web site is a backup if you have problems, but truly they just put you in touch with the local people where you will be staying. It's been great because the owners pop by with fresh vegetables, invite you to coffee, have all sorts of touring information for the area. One place we stayed had four young sons and one was a touring expert. He gave us great advice about places to visit. I don't think I'd care to stay where an owner lived somewhere else and couldn't be contacted immediately. We've not had problems but sooner or later something has to go wrong. LOL

Just saw your post and don't know if this is too late but we are dealing with SummerinItaly for our trip to the Amalfi coast and have had nothing but positive results so far. Check out their website. It's one of the best constructed rental sites I've seen.
