| Hua Hin | Jellyfish Posted: Wed April 25, 2007 09:49 PM UTC
I visited Hua Hin about 15 years ago, and the sea was full of jelly fish so was no good for swimming. Is it still the same? Also we stayed in a room on the old fishing pier I wonder if this place is still there and what the name is.
Hope someone can help Lorna |

We were there in late February and it was fine (few if any jellies). However, the water isn't as nice there as other places - maybe it's just a bit too close to the Chao Phraya? So unless it's nostalgia you are going for, I'd see something new this time like Koh Chang.
Cheers, Damon

Often you see jellyfish following rains, it varies a lot, I have not seen so many on the south beaches and the further south the beaches tend to be clearer.
