Hello everyone

I am going for an Internship in Nairobi for 3 months between august to November and I am looking to rent an apartment. Have you any advices and apartments to recommend?

P.S Is it Cold that time of the year in Nairobi?

I stayed at the Eagle's appartment on Milimani road- about a 15min walk from the city center. It costed about 28 000 ksh a month for a 1/12, not including electricity (but they do make your bed daily except on sundays). I don't have the contact info on me, but you can contact Nairobi Backpackers for more info (just google them). Hope it helps...

My reply rather comes late but i feel it woud be timely enough to be considered.
There are a vaiety of appartments in Nairobi and they come in different packages.Clean ,secure andeasily accessible appartments go for between Kenya Shillings 30,000 a month and 60,000 a month, You could also explore the possibilty of home stays . To have an appartment you need to book like 1 month in advance.

To add on the above, he's stating it in Celcius. You can get through Kenyan winter with a warm fleece or a sturdy sweater. In the highlands, you might want a hat though.
