Question:

Is there any art gallery and art supply store in Izmir or Cesme? I mean NOT fine art museum - but stores that sale art work, frames etc. and paper, charcoal, colors etc.

Izmir is a metropolis, a culture city mixed with Greek, jewish, roman and Turkish culture. You can find what ever you wish in Izmir. Cesme is a very small town full of tourist from Greek islands and EU. Kusadasi is quite big city with culture and art galaries. Selcuk is rather like cesme. visit may cesme, kusadasi pages for information. You will find your stores in all those 4 cities. have a nive time in Turkey.

OK, thank you. Unfortunately, Cesme is one of the last stops in my trip in Trurkey, but is good to know about it (and Alacati). Izmir and Selcuk are the 2nd (and 3rd) places to vizit, after Istambul. Probably I would look for an art supply store in Istambul.

You can find in every half an hour busses or minibusses called "Dolmusch" from Cesme to Alacati. Alacati is a typical Aegean town once many Rum of Anatolia lived. Alacati is a intellectual town in summer.
