Hi. Anybody know how to travel from Kinabalu Park to Poring then back to KK. We want to head to Poring after the climb and after soaking, straight back to KK. Any bus? If not, how much the taxi will cost? Please help.

Hi Jimmy..
Usually you can get a bus to Kinabalu Park..very easy.. From KK, take a bus from the KK bus stand to Ranau..Mentioned that you want to go to Kinabalu Park..Once you reach there, do all your necessary check-in arrangements..to go to the hotspring, it's a walking distance within the kinabalu park itself..if you want to go back to KK, just get a bus too.Very easy..they'll be a lot of buses and taxis go to and fro the Kinabalu Park. If you're travelling in a big group, hire a bus & driver from KK. I'm not so sure about the charges.I think it will cost you slightly more RM100...

Kinabalu Park to Poring - you can catch a minivan. We didn't even book this until after our Mt Kinabalu climb, when we returned back to the Park Headquarters at 2PM. Our guide just asked where we were heading, we said Poring Hot Springs and he organised a minivan for RM70 for the five of us.
It is definitely not walking distance. The ride was over a 1/2 hour unbuckled in a speeding van!! Poring to Kota Kinabalu - We asked staff at the Poring Hot Springs. They organised a minivan to a bus stand that they referred to as "coca cola bus stand". There another minivan took us to KK for RM15. The same price we paid for KK to Mt K.
