| St. Thomas | 4:20 in St. Thomas Posted: Sun April 22, 2007 11:33 PM UTC
My boy friend and I are going to visit St. Thomas in July. We would like to celebrate 4:20 and are wondering how hard it will be. Any experience in this area would be appreciated?

Celebrating 4:20 could land you in a lot of trouble in St. Thomas. It is illegal. That being said, the problem is with logistics. If you manage to get it there, you will probably find a secluded spot to celebrate. If you manage to do that and don't end up in jail, DO NOT try to return to home with anything that is left. Security is tight these days.

Thank you very much for the advice. I have no plans of traveling with it but I am curious as to how hard it would be to find once we land. We spent a week in Jamaica last year and the 4:20 celebration was relaxed and easy. I just wanted to know if we will have a similar 4:20 experience.

Not as easy in USVI as Jamaica. Be wary if you find someone who offers to sell you some. Try the trip without it. You will enjoy the islands. Take the ferry over to St. John and explore the hiking trails and beaches. You'll find you will have a fabulous time without it and won't be worried and paranoid about it.
Enjoy the islands.
