My wife and I are looking for a one-way trip, bus or train, from Paris to Eindhoven on August 27, 2007.
All flights are either booked up or very expensive. HELP! |

check for buses on
www.eurolines.com or train www.sncf.com but bus will be cheaper I think

You can take the Thalys from Paris-Nord to Rotterdam, then change for the Inter City train to Eindhoven (sometimes with a change in Dodrecht). Travel time is about 4 1/2 hours.
Trains depart hourly, so don't get too worried about the route getting sold out. Cost for two seats on the Thalys from Paris to Rotterdam on a Monday in June (it's way too early to book an August ticket!) shows EUR 177, with a special fare of 150 first-class. Check a month or two out at www.thalys.com to see if you can find a cheap ticket or special. A Ticket from Rotterdam to Eindhoven costs EUR 15.40 one-way. the cheapest way is still Eurolines busses, you will arrive oppiste central staion at Eindhoven, have a nice time :-) Carin
