Dear VTers,
A friend and I will be in Rwanda during summer. We were thinking of visiting Burundi for two or three days. Can anyone tell me wether this is a good idea nowadays? Thanks for your help. Best regards, Jose |

If you are going to Burundi, you may want to have a look at the page of VT Member PALS. He is looking for someone who is going to Burundi to photograph some of his art work. It's a really interesting story!!!

Check with British Foreign Office , I worked in a tea factory project and travel was some times scary. If you arrive by air into Bujumbura no probs , Book in at Novotel with nice pool and bar and relax. Short taxi drive to Lake Tanganika and lake side bars etc . Ensure you have visa sorted etc.
Just take care and be sensible. Good luck Teaman
