Hi!
I am a participant in a Canadian educational youth exchange, Canada World Youth. I am going to be living and volunteering in Dalian, China for approximately 3 1/2 months. I would apperciate any advice anyone can offer me on the city, the country, anything at all! I have been waiting all my life to go to china! I am really excited! thanks! ~kelly |

You'll fall in love with this place. It is one of the most attractive cities in China, especially during summer when the nearby beaches come alive. You'll enjoy riding the trams, browsing the Russian wholesale market, playing soccer with Chinese youth, hanging out in the picturesque town squares, and seeing Wal-Mart in China. Take the ferry to Shandong for a weekend or head north to the fascinating border town of Dandong. Your time in Dalian will be enjoyable and one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Have fun! You should be extremely excited!
