Fussen to Munich

After visiting Schloss Neuschwanstein, I will be driving to Munich. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about good places to visit along the way. I am considering Andechs Monestery. As well, I am traveling with older children. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi,
Check out for the Starnberger See and Ammersee. It is a nice area where Munichs money sits.

Also the Wieskirche is definitely worth to be visited!!!

The Wies Kirche is a very nice church. Situated in a meadow (Wies) it's plain on the outside (almost Romanesque) and exhuberantly Baroque on the inside. The contrast almost takes your breath away.
