| Aleppo | Aleppo to Adana Posted: Wed April 18, 2007 03:36 PM UTC
I'm travelling overland from Egypt to Istanbul in a couple of weeks. For the Damascus to Istanbul leg I don't want to wait around for the weekly train but have found trains from Damascus to Aleppo and from Aleppo to Adana to Istanbul. So the troublesome leg is Aleppo to Adana! I know there are taxis (though a touch pricey) and keep finding confimation that there are weekly buses but can't seem to track down a timetable for the buses. Does anyone know how to get hold of this information or any better alternatives?
Your help would be greatly apreciated! Thanks. |

Wherever you are going to in Turkey, the buses will be like the following first a bus from Aleppo to Hatay(Antakia)and then switch to another bus to take you to your destination so,everyday buses leave on different times from Aleppo to Hatay and others from Hatay to Adana.
The Syrian bus leaves at 5 AM,but I'll recommend the turkish one which leaves at 2 PM everyday and from there you can catch the other one..Good Luck PS:in Aleppo there is one office that represent Has company(Turkish bus company)officially and better price than others it's the last one on the right side when you enter the station from the meuseum side.

Thank you very much for your help. Just a few questions. Were those bus times for the Antakya-Adana leg? And you don't happen to know the times the Aleppo to Antakya buses depart dp you? Or how i could get that information?

I do not know the times, but there are frequent buses between the two cities. I did not have to wait more than 30 minutes going either way.
