Many years ago I caught a bus from the Hbf to the airport but as both areas have undergone a lot of changes in that time could someone tell me if this is still the case. Where does one catch the bus? I am familiar with the Ausgang that leads to Koenigstrasse. It was a bus direct to the airport, not a suburban bus.

This bus does not exist anymore.
The airport is now connected with Hauptbahnhof by the S-Bahn lines S2 and S3.

Even better than that, the S-Bahn now goes from the Hauptbahnhof Tief (underground level) to the Airport. Take S2 or S3 to Flughafen. Trains depart every 10-20 minutes and take about 30 minutes. Cost from the Hauptbahnhof is EUR 3.

Thank you both, as it was all a Baustelle last time I was there I did have a feeling the arrangements may have changed.
