Hi, I was wondering if anyone had information on how cheaply I could rent an apartment for about 3-4 weeks for 2 people in mid July to early August this summer. I am not limited to Bishkek either, so if anyone knows of more cost-effective accomidations in other cities I would also be interested.

If you are looking for a nice, clean apartment in Bishkek, in a safe area
of the city, than you can call my friend Svetlana at 011-996-312-41-94-54.
She speaks English and so does her daughter Masha. She also has two daughters
living in Minneapolis, so you might be able to get some information before
going. Your apartment will be fully funished with a working phone. You
should expect to pay about $300 to $400 total for the both of you. You could
also rent individual one bedroom apartments for about $175. Please leave the
apartment clean, pay for anything you broke and bring a little gift for the
landlord. It's good PR and they can be great assistance in having a wonderful
