We are arriving at Schipolt airport at 13:00 on May 18th after an overnight flight and we need to go to Delft for our start of the vacation. We are a couple in the 50's but healthy.
What is the best transportation, easier, faster, cheaper?
Please help us.

The train is the easiest, fastest and cheapest.

The trainstation is below the central hall at the airport. You can buy tickets from the machine in the hall or at the ticket counter.

To get to Delft you need to transfer 1 time. The fastest is to take the train leaving at --.21 or --.51 each hour. Get out at Leiden (3rd) stop. Go to the other side of the track (same platform) and walk towards the close to the stairs and where you can buy some food and coffee there is where the train to Delft stops. The train to Delft departs each hour on --.19 or --.49.

You will have about 6 min. to transfer at Leiden, time enough.

There is a slow train from Schiphol at .21 and .51 to Delft (it will probably say Leiden on the signs). It takes longer (stops at all stations and waits for 10 minutes at Leiden) but you don't have to change trains (and haul all your luggage around the platforms). This train runs, roughly, between 8 am and 7 pm. Other times: change necessary as mentioned above.
one way: 8.30 euros per person, 2nd class and 14.10 euros pp 1st class.

At Delft station I recommend to take a taxi, on your right when leaving the station. If you stay at a hotel maybe they will be able to meet you at the Delft train station (I know some do).
