Does anyone know a hotel or guesthouse which is close the opera house as i want to buy tickets for a show there and want to stay close by.
Also do you know how close it is to blackpool centre?

There are dozens and dozens of small family hotels and B&B's in B'pool , many close to the Opera House which is fairly central.
Sorry I can't recommend but suggest a Google search of the postcode - FY1 1HU - it will lead you to a few in Adelaide St. which you could look up on this site or tripadvisor. My tip would be Do not go for the cheapest. Hopefully someone will post a personal recommendation.

The advice above is spot on, there are indeed hundreds of places to choose from, the best are about average the others are bloody awful (definitely do not go for the cheapest).

Try the Novello (01253 293474) or email them via www.novellohotel.co.uk if they are full ask them if they will recommend somewhere else.

If you are going with a gang the Novello might be a bit quiet for you so have a look at the Norwood (www.thenorwood.co.uk) or if you want a proper hotel try the Ruskin (www.ruskinhotel.com) all three are near where you want to be.
