Hello, my fiance and I are planning to go to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and narrowed it down to spend time in Manuel Antonio and Arenal. The question is, should we stay all 5 nights in Manuel Antonio and take a day trip to Arenal? Or should we split up our trip b/w those two sites.
Also - how do you get from the airport to these 2 destinations? Thanks!! |

split your time, arenal is too far for a day trip. From manuel antonio you can take fantasy bus or interbus, both are about $25 per person and they will pick you up and drop you off at your hotels. Any other questions just send me an e-mail, I've been to Costa Rica seven times now.

Several options for travel to Manuel Antonio and Arenal.
5 nights isn't enough for both places really because travel is so far between. It is about 5-6 hrs between the two places. What time you get into the country and when you leave really makes a huge difference. You may have to plan one or two of those nights near the airport. Are you talking 4 days 5 nights? If so, I would just go to Manuel Antonio if a beach is on your wish list.
