Hi, does anyone know how far the Heritage Hotel is from downtown Manila, and how much this would be by taxi?
Thanks

When you say downtown Manila, I assumed you're referring to Quiapo, Binondo or areas near to Rizal Park. These places are around 20 minutes by cab from Heritage via Roxas Blvd. Fare is between P60-P80.

The city boundary of Manila from the hotel is pretty near, just 3-4 kms. away along Roxas Blvd., but the taxi fare would depend on where your exact destination is as well as traffic conditions.

Sta. Mesa is not considered "downtown manila" :) it is quite a distance from heritage hotel. the traffic is heavy on that part of the metro. it will probably take you 30-45 min by taxi to get to, say Jasmin Hostel in Sta. Mesa and it might cost you P100++.

Re: Heritage Hotel Posted: Wed April 11, 2007 11:40 PM UTC
would suggest to take the train.
1. from heritage hotel, get on a jeepney marked "MRT/LRT"
2. take the LRT Line 1 (Orange) and go towards the direction of Doroteo Jose Station
2. from D. Jose Station, interchange with LRT Line 2 (Purple). Sta. Mesa stations are Pureza and V.Mapa (let me know exactly where you are heading in sta. mesa)
cheers!

What do you consider downtown Manila? The Heritage is not that far from the Manila Baywalk if you consider that downtown. Its about a 15 minute drive at the most. Are you talking about Makati? Its a bit of a way from Makati. Its also across the street from a huge girlie bar complex! haha
