Victoria Falls Which airport?

I'm somewhat confused - hope someone can help. Which airport should i fly into - Livingstone or Victoria Falls? I'm flying in from Gaborone & spending 2 days in Vic Falls before joining a camping safaris. Also, which airport is nearer to the Falls?

Both airports are pretty close to the Falls themselves (within 45 minutes drive).

If you are staying on the Zimbabwe side, in Vic Falls, then it's probably a good idea to fly in there since it will eliminate the need to pay for a Zambian visa in addition to the Zimbabwe visa.

A direct flight from Gaborone to Vic. Falls is the best bet!

Most airlines have now withdrawn service from Vic Falls. Britich Airways withdrew while I was there a few weeks ago. You may get stuck there, would suggest flying to Livingston.

I am also going there in a few weeks and have decided on Livingstone, although SAA do fly there, you never know whats up with Zimbabwe.
I do hope to be able to go to Zimbabwe from the Zambia border.
