Himalayas	ski touring in march/april 2008 Posted: Tue April 10, 2007 01:03 PM UTC Destination Mera Peak Summit. Proposed trek & ski tour by experienced sherpa team that I know personally. Looking for 4-6 volunteers to take part. Must be experienced off-piste skier or snow boarder in excellent condition with good snow sense for avalanche dangers, etc. Please let me know. Thanks. Day 01: Arrival kathmandu hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu rest

Day 03: Kathmanud – Lukla – Ghat

Day 04: Ghat – Namche

Day 05: Namche – Lukla ( for high altitude sickness)

Day 06: Lukla – Chhuthanga

Day 07: Chhuthanga – Chhtre

Day 08: Chhtre – Kothe

Day 09: Kothe – Thaknag

Day 10: Thaknag rest

Day 11: Thaknag – Khare

Post this on the talk forum at Telemarktips.com. I climbed Mera in Fall 1993,walking in from Jeri,and than from Lukla to the summit on your schedule. I think it will be very cold because of the much shorter days in Spring. There were nordic ski tracks on the Mera La. Have a great trip !
