I will be traveling in Croatia in about a month but would like to be able to store some excess luggage in Ancona, Italy before taking the ferry over to Split. Could anyone give me some advice as to whether it is possible to store luggage in Ancona? many thanks.

There is a left luggage office in the ferry terminal at Ancona but I do not know if there is a time limit for how long you can leave things there. Try emailing the port authority in Ancona and asking them.

If you are returning to Split before going back to Ancona there is a left luggage there for 15 kuna a day (about $3) right across from the docks near the DM (a drug store)
