How much is the airfare from Hue to HCMC/Saigon? Are there any reliable budget airlines that connect the two cities?

I flew with Vietnam Airlines last November and it was reasonably priced and I found the airline very reliable. Check out Vietnam Airlines web sight for current pricing

One way flight is $52. No need to contact the travel agent above. This is a set price from VN Airlines.

Thanks guys! Is the price fixed or does it go up or down the closer the date of departure? Can I book the flight in Hue the day before the departure and will the price still be around $52-53?

It's the same price no matter when you book it, but don't wait too long before the departure date in case it fills up.

How frequently do the flights get cancelled from Hue? Would it be better and cheaper if I fly out of Danang to HCMC instead of Hue?

From Danang, $53 on VN Air or $48 on Pacific Airlines. No idea how often flights are cancelled in Hue.
