Hi all, need your help in recommending a good 5 star hotel close to the American University in Beirut as I will be their in early May for a couple of days.

Crown Plaza, Riviera are both in walking distance - Crown Plaza is a little closer, but I have walked it from the Riviera.
Also, Palm Beach, Monroe, and of course the Phoenicia Intercontinental are all fairly close as well. Happy Travels!

Try Gefinor Rotana Hotel, it's in Clemenceau Street just five minutes away from AUB, the closest one I guess. Check the map on the website http://www.gefinorrotana.com/. Hope this will help you.
