| Trieste | Holiday Apartment in Trieste in June Posted: Fri April 6, 2007 06:20 PM UTC
My husband and I are retired American Foreign Service diplomats and are looking for a reasonable week-long rental in Trieste during the first part of June perhaps from June 3 - 9, but we are flexible. Can anyone help us? Many thanks for any useful information or contacts. Angela

Hi,
Well except if you have some special reason to stay in Trieste, I wouldn't spend more than necessary. It's like spending your holiday in San Diego harbor... I think it would be much nicer to spend it in Piran or Portoroz in Slovenia, (20 min. from Trieste) and maybe take a day trip from Portoroz to Venice with the fast katamaran Prince of Venice. Or you could spend it in any of the numerous and nice places on the Croatian (Istrian) coast(20 min. from Portoroz). Anyway you decide I wish you a nice holiday (especially if you come to Slovenia:) Marko
