| Fussen | Accommodation near Fussen Posted: Fri April 6, 2007 01:48 AM UTC
My husband and I will be travelling to Germany with our 2 children (8 and 10) in early June. We would like to use Fussen as our base for a few days to explore the castles and surrounding areas. I have narrowed our accommodation choices down to 2 properties - Haus L.A and the Allgauer Hotel. Given that the latter is situated out of Fussen, which would provide us with a better base? Also, which apartment configuration in these properties is better suited to a family? We will have a car so do not need the use of public transport - how far out of Fussen is the Allgauer?

My daughter (8 at the time) and I stayed at Haus L.A. two years ago. Our room had two bunk beds and a double bed, plus sink and table. The host was very nice and brought us breakfast at the time we requested.
