Hi,
Can anyone suggest me if there is anything interesting to see related to diamonds(as a tourist) in Antwerp as a whole or in diamond district specifically... I am not interested to buy diamond jewellery but want to see something related as it is the worlds biggest diamond district. Will it be worth a trip from Brussels? Please suggest.. Many thanks! |

There is a diamond museum. I have no idea if it's worth the trip because I've never been there.

I don't know if the Saint Paulus church is opened already but they have a nice small treasure room with lots of diamonds. You might also want to walk to the more beautiful area of the old city and near the Consciene plein, in the Wijngaerdstraat you can find two small jewelery shops with own Antwerp designed jewelery. The most interesting part of diamonds however is kept behind doors in offices :) Antwerp itself is a diamond `-)
