Just wondering if it is necessary or recommended to take malaria pills if I'm spending 3 days there. Anyone has any idea or comment on that??

You don't need malaria pills for 3 days in the Taman Negara just something for the mosquitos but you won't have a problem out there.
Unless your fresh meat.

Yeah I'm not putting my hopes up for that. But I do hope I'll at least see monkeys....
Did you otherwise have a good time there?

It's not necesary for Malaria tables. Just get a strong mosquito repelent something with deet.
I enjoy the canopy walk but I did not see much animal either. Have a wonderful holiday.

No i did not have a good time there. Malaysia was covered in Smog from the burning bushfires on Borneo. Really bad.
