| Grand Cayman | Moving to GC Posted: Tue April 3, 2007 03:38 AM UTC
Hi all,
I will be moving from Australia and have a job in Grand Cayman and my 18 year old daughter would like to come with me. Can you arrive there and then find work? What would be the best way. She has experience in Bar/Cocktail/Waiter/Retail service. Any recruitment agencies there that do this sort of thing?? Thanks in advance. |

There are many jobs available in the food and beverage service. Immigration regulations dictate that individuals may not reside in the Islands while a work permit application is in process. Note that your wife and children are not automatically entitled to reside in Cayman even if you hold a valid permit, he or she must be a named dependant on the permit, and a separate application may be required. Maybe it would be easier if you went first and have her come later when you have organized everything?
For more info try: www.immigration.gov.ky Good luck and enjoy Grand Cayman Sylvia
