Hello,
I am not aware of this resort, but I have just come back from Thailand and visited Ko Phangan too. I stayed at a lovely resort called Panviman (www.panviman.com). They are located in the north east of the island and have a lovely 4 star resort. I loved it there. It is on a cliff overlooking the sea and two lovely beaches called Ao Tong Nai pan Noi and Yai. I stayed in a superior hotel room with sea with costing 4500 bhat per night on a twin basis. It is in a more secluded part of the island and has a lovely beach which is great for swimming in too. They have a lovely pool too, and Spa. Hope this helps. Chirag

Hi
The Sanctuary is beautiful if you are a romantic hippy in need of detoxification. They do massage and only vegetaran food. The beach it is on is pebbles but you can walk over the hill to the next beach called Haad Yuan, which is laid back, huge and both are not frequented by the usual sorts as they are not as accessible, you have to get a long boat to get there. Thats why theres so many hippies. You get these boats from beach in Haad Rin.They are about 100-200 bt each person, but what an experience! Its nature at its best, I loved it, I took my 6 yr old daughter. We never stayed at the Sanctuary but I think you can swim on the beach there, its such a pretty place,if you dont mind the hippies and theres even a pond with bull frogs croaking at night. The beach the other side is called Haad Wynam, again its oddly beautiful and only get to it by long boat, only 1 establishment but the huts are quite nice..........
