| Banaue | Driving to Banaue Posted: Mon April 2, 2007 06:54 PM UTC
Can anyone give exact directions to take if one plans to drive to Banaue from Manila? I've been told that to take the North Luzon Expressway and exit Sta. Rita, Bulacan and just follow the highway through...
Also, any tips as to what time to leave etc., and things to do would be appreciated. Am planning an overnight in Banaue, then leave for Sagada (what route to take?) for 2 nights, then back to Banaue for another 2 nights... Thank you! |

Dear Sir/Lady
If you go through the pages of VT on Banaue and Sagada, all your answers are already there, so I will just answer other points which needed to be addressed. THINGS TO DO, ROUTE TO SAGADA - these questions have already been answered so many times, so just browse thru the various write ups . . Depending whether you prefer to drive at night or during the day, Manila to Banaue is about 8 - 9 hours depending also on your driving speed. I prefer to drive at night - less traffic, cooler, and especially when you are driving towards the westerly or easterly direction. Suggest that you do not drive from Banaue to Sagada unless yours a 4WD or equivalent, and suggest you do not drive back to Banaue . . shoot over to Baguio for a day or two then back to Manila. I do believe you will have to change your car's suspension system if you were to drive up and down Sagada and Banaue. Also would appreciate if you could kindly update your profile so at least we know . . where you are from, name etc etc
