Does anyone know how the road between Kruje and Gostivar (via Debar) is ... the road that connects to E65 in Macedonia?

THe crossing at Debar is not open at the moment as on the MKD side they do some roadworks.
Also the Albanian side has the worst road condition of all of AL,unless you travel with 4X4.
the best is to cross into MKD at K'afasan/Struga crossing south of Debar. the roads are great , and the scenary driving from struga via Debar to Gostivar is grat!!! You will drving trought the gorge of Crn Drim & Radika rivers. Pass couple of man made lakes and trought the region of Reka. on that note you have to visit SV Ilija monastery near Debar, Sv Jovan Bigorski monastery and Galichik vilage.
Rule of thumb is that majority of the roads in AL are about 4 yrs old and they are putting lots of money into their road infrastructure.
as long you do not venture out of the ordinary and try to visit vilage on the top of the mountain, ordinary car will do.
The roads in MKD are more than satisfectory and the only toll you will pay is the one of the motorway going from Tabanovce to Gevgelija,but the toll is about €6.
