Hello,
I see on Hertz car rental's website that they have a pick-up office at 1 Abbey Road in Straford-on-Avon, but I can't find any evidence of that on Stratord's websites, including the official tourist site or the railway station's site, so I'm a little suspicious of Hertz's claim. :) Can anyone verify that there are Hertz cars typically available to hire near the rail station in Stratford? There is no particular reason why tourist info sites would advertise or have links to local car hire firms, nor the railway station site (although I have found references to it), so I don't think you need to worry. If Hertz say they are there, then they are there.
You could always ring them on 01789 298837 ( or 01789 298827, as both numbers appear on websites suggesting a typo might be involved somewhere, perhaps) if you are still bothered.
