Is there a bus or rail route to goa from pune , how many hours & is it convenient. i am coming from mumbai to pune then goa

hey hi there
yes there would be buses from Pune to Goa .. Contact ur local travel / tour operator there... basically u have to go via PEN .. OR if u want to have a good drive / view go from pune to MAHABLESHWAR ( its a nice hillstation ) around 100 kms from pune from mahableshwar u ll land onto POLADPUR ( 30 kms ) which connects to the LINK road to GOA ... goa is around 350 kms from poladpur have fun ! cheers

there are around 4-5 AC volvo buses which go from Pune to goa. apart from this there are non-AC buses and sleeper buses plying on this route. The approx charges are Rs. 700 for volvo, Rs. 300 for non AC, and Rs. 500 for sleeper. Volvo takes around 10 hrs all other buses will take 12 hrs. apart from that there is a single train plying on this route which leaves pune at around 5 pm
