can anybody tell me if the airport in Ozamiz City will open soon ? If not ,
which route is safest or quickest ....from Manila to Cagayan de Oro or Dipolog ?

all info is much appreciated !

we took dipolog airport to ozamis, no idea when if its via CDO....the view along the bus ride is scenic and safe aside from normal checkpoints.

Ozamis is likely to stay closed for some time yet. choice from CDO is by bus or ferry, bus being quicker and easier, tho you will have to make a short ferry crossing to Ozamis.
we always use the CDO route, tho you can fly into Pagadian and bus it up from tyhere to Ozamis?

I have travelled from Ozamiz City to CDO by bus and would be happy to do it again, in reverse.

There is a roll on roll off ferry that operates between Tubod and Ozamiz City. Just jump on a bus in CDO going to Tubod. If you get the right one, it will take you all the way to Ozamiz, including the RORO ferry.

Ozamiz airport has been opened recently, just two days from now (July 14, 2007)

The airport is open now. Air Philippines has several fights a week from Manila

Yes there is now a plane travel from manila to ozamis.The schedule is Monday,Wednesday,Friday and Sunday.
